Kaitlin Lambert is a trombonist and private teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from Oberlin Conservatory.

Raised in the Chicago suburbs, Kaitlin began her musical training early under the guidance of leading brass professionals in the Chicagoland area. She went on to participate in national and international festivals, including the Cabrillo Festival, Prague Summer Nights Festival, and Miami Music Festival. Her formative years were further shaped by training at the Merit School of Music and Midwest Young Artists Conservatory.

As a performer, Kaitlin maintains an active freelance career throughout the Bay Area, appearing frequently with ensembles such as the Santa Rosa, California, and Stockton symphonies. Her operatic credits include work with Opera San Jose, Opera Parallèle, and Livermore Valley Opera. Among her career highlights, she performed in Matteo Bocelli’s orchestra in Napa Valley and played shows with Puerto Rican singer Yandel at his Oakland Shows.

Kaitlin is equally devoted to music education. She teaches private lessons and coaches brass sections for school districts throughout the Bay Area. Trained by more than six distinguished mentors, she brings a wealth of pedagogical perspective to her teaching. She has a deep commitment to developing technique, sound, and musicianship in the next generation of brass players.
